and after surgery. If you have any coexisting medical conditions, like diabetes or cardiovascular disease, you may not be able to have breast augmentation surgery until these diseases are well under control.

 

Given the technical requirements of mastopexy, it is possible for asymmetry to persist after the procedure. Also, it is essentially impossible to completely hide all of the scars that will form on the suture lines. If you are prone to keloid formation (raised scars) you should discuss this with your physician in advance of the mastopexy.
