What’s covered
Counted from the 3 prices above. Every one of them states that the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia and the facility are included — that is what makes them comparable. The rest is what they happen to say.
The directory
118 surgeons within 25 miles of Bremerton, nearest first.
By distance from Bremerton, then by last name. Distances come from ZIP code centers, so they are approximate and shown as “about”. Where two surgeons are the same distance away, a reviewed profile comes before one listed from public records.
Surgeons marked “From public records” are listed from the federal provider registry and have not yet been verified by Surgery.com. Confirm licensing and board certification before booking a consultation.
The directory lists surgeons; it does not recommend them. The prices on this site are sources for what things cost, not recommendations about who to see.

Context
Draft. Written by us from what practices publish, not yet reviewed by a clinician.
Whether it is a first operation or a revision. A revision works around what a previous operation did and practices price it separately, often much higher.
Whether breathing is being addressed at the same time. Some practices separate the cosmetic work from septal work in the price, and some do not.
Where the operation happens. A hospital operating room, an accredited surgery centre and an office-based suite are three different facility fees for the same procedure.
How long you are asleep. Anesthesia is usually billed by time, so a longer operation costs more than a shorter one at the same surgeon’s fee.
Who gives the anesthetic. An anesthesiologist and a nurse anesthetist are billed differently, and some practices leave this out of the quoted price entirely.
Whether more than one procedure is done in the same sitting. Practices often price a combination below the sum of its parts, because the facility and anesthesia are shared.
What happens if a revision is needed. Some prices include the surgeon’s fee for a revision within a stated period and some do not; the facility and anesthesia are rarely included either way.
For reference
Published by associations, not gathered by us, and not comparable with the prices above — each one says for itself what it leaves out.
