The evidence
One mark per practice whose price states that the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia and the facility are included. Tap or focus any of them for what it covers, where it came from, and when we last confirmed it.
Showing 2 of 5, spread evenly across the span so its shape is not misdrawn. The list below has every one.

These name a floor, not a price. The operation costs at least this much; the practice has not said what it costs in any particular case, so they are not on the strip and not in the span.
What’s covered
Counted from the 2 prices above. Every one of them states that the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia and the facility are included — that is what makes them comparable. The rest is what they happen to say.
The directory
65 surgeons within 10 miles of San Francisco, nearest first.
By distance from San Francisco, then by last name. Distances come from ZIP code centers, so they are approximate and shown as “about”. Where two surgeons are the same distance away, a reviewed profile comes before one listed from public records.
Surgeons marked “From public records” are listed from the federal provider registry and have not yet been verified by Surgery.com. Confirm licensing and board certification before booking a consultation.
The directory lists surgeons; it does not recommend them. The prices on this site are sources for what things cost, not recommendations about who to see.

Context
Draft. Written by us from what practices publish, not yet reviewed by a clinician.
The implants themselves. Silicone and saline are priced differently, and a practice may quote the operation with or without them.
Whether it is a first operation or a revision. Removing or replacing existing implants is a different operation from placing them.
Where the operation happens. A hospital operating room, an accredited surgery centre and an office-based suite are three different facility fees for the same procedure.
How long you are asleep. Anesthesia is usually billed by time, so a longer operation costs more than a shorter one at the same surgeon’s fee.
Who gives the anesthetic. An anesthesiologist and a nurse anesthetist are billed differently, and some practices leave this out of the quoted price entirely.
Whether more than one procedure is done in the same sitting. Practices often price a combination below the sum of its parts, because the facility and anesthesia are shared.
What happens if a revision is needed. Some prices include the surgeon’s fee for a revision within a stated period and some do not; the facility and anesthesia are rarely included either way.
For reference
