Where these numbers come from

13 fills of 28 days a year, along the dose schedule on the label with each step taken at the earliest the label allows; the label’s schedule is cited on the Zepbound page. A prescriber sets the schedule, and a slower one changes the sum. This is arithmetic on published prices: an estimate, not a quote, and not advice about any treatment or dose. Prices change; each seller’s own page is the authority.

Each label’s own dose schedule, linked and dated. The calculator takes every step at the earliest the label allows; a prescriber may go slower, and a slower schedule changes the sum.

Zepbound

Wegovy

  • The label’s schedule is once a week: 0.25 mg for weeks 1 to 4, 0.5 mg for weeks 5 to 8, 1 mg for weeks 9 to 12, 1.7 mg for weeks 13 to 16, and the maintenance dose from week 17.Source: FDA-approved label for Wegovy (DailyMed) (opens in a new tab), label revised 6/2026. Checked October 11, 2026.
  • For weight reduction in adults the label’s maintenance dose is 1.7 mg or 2.4 mg once a week, with 2.4 mg recommended.   • The label’s schedule is one tablet a day: 0.8 mg to start; 2.5 mg after at least 30 days; 5.5 mg after at least 30 more days; then 9 mg, 14.5 mg or 17.2 mg, each after at least 30 days on the dose before.
